BMW R 1250 GS Latest Updates
BMW has launched the 2019 R 1250 GS in India. Prices start from Rs 16. 85 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 21. 85 lakh. This is a premium of Rs 1 lakh over the outgoing model. Bookings for the bike have already commenced for an amount of Rs 3 lakh and deliveries are expected to begin in February 2019. The R 1250 GS is powered by a 1,254cc Boxer twin-cylinder engine that churns out 136PS of power and 143Nm of peak torque. BMW has also introduced variable valve timing to the range with the R 1250 GS. Branded as Shiftcam, the system also varies valve lift in addition to valve timing and is expected to make the bike Euro V-compliant. And in a welcome move, the 6. 5-inch TFT instrument cluster that was optional on the outgoing bike is now offered as standard. It rivals the Triumph Tiger 1200 and Ducati Multistrada 1260.
