- My dream bike.Hi friends , i am the proud owner of the brand new racing machine r15 v3 . I am using it past 1 month , i am using the racing blue colour .. Which looks stunning on roads . Believe me it just looks like a super bike on roads . Cons : 1. Led headlights which tends aggressive and premium look to the bike 2. Design is derived from its elder siblings r1 and r6 , which makes it a race machine 3. Vva technology offers better acceleration ,with more pickup and a decent mileage of 40 -45 kmpl 4. 6 speed gearbox which leads to better speed , slipper clutch and fuel injection technology take the bike performance to the next level 5. The instrument console is fully digital and customisable Over all the bike feels so good and premium Note:the only con i found is , even though the pillion seat height is down when compared to v2 , still it is not roomy for the pillion . Yamaha YZF R15 V3 Moto GP Edition Latest Updates
The Yamaha YZF-R15 already enjoy a cult-like following in the Indian motorcycling scene. Not surprising then, the Yamaha R15 v3. 0 has been quite a hit. But to make the motorcycle even more appealing, the bike maker has launched the MotoGP Limited Edition R15 at Rs 1. 3 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 3,000 dearer than the standard model. This limited-edition motorcycle is essentially the Yamaha Racing Blue colour variant with exclusive Movistar livery. It gets colour-coded rim stickers as well.
Other than the visual cues, the motorcycle’s powertrain and other underpinnings are the same as the standard variant. The same 155cc liquid-cooled SOHC motor, good for 19. 3PS at 10,000rpm and 15Nm at 8500rpm continues to work in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch. Brakes are also the same 282mm front and 220mm rear discs, without ABS. Telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock handle suspension duties. Chief rivals of the YZF-R15 V3. 0 include the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and KTM RC 200.
