Launched in 2011, Suzuki Slingshot Plus is a 125cc commuter bike. The manufacturer introduced it with the hope of good sales figures after they decide to discontinue their 125cc player- Suzuki Zeus. Slingshot is the cheapest offering from the company’s portfolio.

The bike gets its power from 124cc, four-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC engine that comes linked to a five-speed gearbox. It is capable enough for producing 8.5bhp of power at 7500 rpm with a 10 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm and uses wet multiplate clutch assembly to transmits the power at the rear wheel. The vehicle runs on 2.75 -18 42P front and 3.00 -18 52P rear tyres that are fitted over elegant alloy wheels. It slows down with the help of reliable Mechanical, Leading Trailing drum brakes installed at both front and rear ends, that become more responsive with the presence of an optional 240mm disc brake at the front. Further, it is provided telescopic forks suspension up front and swing arm with coil spring aided shock absorbers at the rear that offer comfortable and stress-free ride.

Talking about the looks, it is wrapped in decent body structure that makes it good looking 125cc commuter motorcycle. At the front, it has a sharp and edgy headlamp that look impressive as it comes with clear lens turning indicators. The fuel tank of the bike is nicely designed that can easily hold 12 liters and also provide a respectable riding stance to the rider. Beside this, at the rear end it comes equipped with a robust tail light that suits well with the overall style of the machine.

It has an overall body dimension of 2035 mm in length, 770 mm in width, 1100 mm in height that offers smooth and good riding posture. The wheelbase of 1265 mm and minimum ground clearance 160mm offers good handling and stability around the corners. Its total kerb weight is 129 kg that makes it lean and easy to ride. The instrument console of the bike is easy to read and displays the information about an analogue speedometer, odometer, tripmeter and fuel gauge.

Suzuki Slingshot Plus sports a decent body style which makes it strong enough to stand between the traditional and an entry-level performance commuter bikes. The front section of the bike furnished with sharp and edgy headlamp unit and a black visor just above it that gives it a pleasing look. It has a sharply crafted fuel tank that can store 12 liters of fuel as well as offers a good riding stance to the rider. The machine features a shiny and long seat that provides optimum comfort to the rider as well as pillion even on long distance journey. The side panels and the fuel tank are designed with lovely graphics that further enhances the beauty of the motorcycle. Approaching towards the rear, the machine equipped with an elegant tail lamp along with clear lens turning indicators and a body colored grab rail that enhances the overall visuals.

Its overall body measures 2035 mm in length, 770 mm in width, 1100 mm in height along with a wheelbase of 1265 mm that offer a smooth and handy ride. It has a minimum ground clearance of 160mm that ensures the stability around the corners. The total kerb weight is 129 kgs that make it an easy ride. Talking about instrumentation, it is fully traditional, easy to read and displays the information about an analogue speedometer, trip meter and fuel gauge.
