Design and Features
Despite having a traditional look, Bullet 500 holds latest technology featuring one of the most powerful body present in the industry. Chrome effect on the bike gives it a royal touch just like its huge logo of Royal Enfield on the fuel tank. Bullet has long exhaust pipe and a powerful engine to produce maximum power even on rough tracks. Wide seat of the bike gives a comfortable riding posture and to enhance the beauty, metal mudguards are given on both sides, front and rear. Engine of the bike is known worldwide for its powerful performance. Considered as heaven for bikers, Bullet is equipped with 499cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine. Producing a maximum power of 27.2bhp and 41.2Nm of torque, Royal Enfield bullet is the first choice of enthusiasts whenever they want to hit the long highways or explore the nature. The engine has both, self start and kick start along with 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. Overall dimensions of the bike are 2200 x 800 x 1120 mm (length, width and height respectively) and weighs around 187 kgs with a ground clearance of 135 mm. If we talk about throttle, a little wrist movement and you are far away from your start and that is all to define the amazing speed & pick up the bike has. On low speed, few vibrations can be felt but passing the 60 kmph mark the bike is a smooth ride and touches the mark of 125 kmph easily.
Braking and Handling
The braking of the bike is given par excellence as most of the riders prefer Bullet to be their companion on rough tracks. Bullet 500 consists of 280 mm disc brake in front and 153 internal expanding rear drum brakes. Trustworthy braking system of the bike makes the rider comfortable on high speed and it has 130 mm travel front suspension and twin gas charged shock absorbers & 80 mm travel rear suspension. Handling the bike in city traffic becomes difficult as it is a heavy machine but a delight on highways can be always experienced on this ultimate machine.

For safety, Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is fitted with the halogen headlight that gives a clear vision in the night. Also the front 280mm disc brake and rear 153mm drum brakes are very reliable.
