Bullet 500 Expert Review

Royal Enfield is a brand with a legendary history in the automotive industry. Enfield has changed a lot with time, whether it’s technology or styling, Royal Enfield leads it all and aims at taking over the automotive market. The company started its journey in 1893 and has developed various ultimate machines till now. Giving a new definition to biking, Royal Enfield has converted the idea of riding into owning a legend in the form of two wheeler. After the launch of Bullet in 1931, the company has become a household name in Indian market. Bullet is still getting upgradations by the company from the time it has launched and every single update in the machine is worth spending for. Bullet offers a charm with its bulky and tough looks, which is anytime suitable and looks awesome on rider of any age. Adding another milestone to the list, Royal Enfield is currently offering Bullet 500, a complete package of tough body, powerful engine and latest technology. Mated with EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection), Bullets does not have any competition because it does not falls under any category, they itself are a category.

Design and Features

Despite having a traditional look, Bullet 500 holds latest technology featuring one of the most powerful body present in the industry. It is not a sporty bike yet it reaches the speed level matching all the sport bike which falls under this particular displacement category. Chrome effect on the bike gives it a royal touch just like its huge logo of Royal Enfield on the fuel tank. Bullet has long exhaust pipe and a powerful engine to produce maximum power even on rough tracks. Wide seat of the bike gives a comfortable riding posture and to enhance the beauty, metal mudguards are given on both sides, front and rear. Digitally, Bullet has analog odometer which can be improved to make it more convenient seeing today’s time. The machine surely attracts everyone on the streets who does not own a Bullet.

Engine and Performance

Engine of the bike is known worldwide for its powerful performance. Considered as heaven for bikers, Bullet is equipped with 499cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine. Producing a maximum power of 27.2bhp and 41.2Nm of torque, Royal Enfield bullet is the first choice of enthusiasts whenever they want to hit the long highways or explore the nature. Overall dimensions of the bike are 2200 x 800 x 1120 mm (length, width and height respectively) and weighs around 187 kgs with a ground clearance of 135 mm. If we talk about throttle, a little wrist movement and you are far away from your start and that is all to define the amazing speed & pick up the bike has. On low speed, few vibrations can be felt but passing the 60 kmph mark the bike is a smooth ride and touches the mark of 125 kmph easily.

Braking and Handling

The braking of the bike is given par excellence as most of the riders prefer Bullet to be their companion on rough tracks. Trustworthy braking system of the bike makes the rider comfortable on high speed and it has 130 mm travel front suspension and twin gas charged shock absorbers & 80 mm travel rear suspension.
