Ola Roadster

Ola Electric’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal has teased the battery pack of an upcoming Ola electric bike, the image reveals a lot more details about the bike’s motor, frame and more.

Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed the launch timeline of the EV maker’s upcoming electric bikes, which is more or less similar to what the manufacturer revealed in a document filed for IPO (Initial Public Offering) purposes. The brand previously showcased four concept bikes including the Roadster, Diamondhead, Adventure and Cruiser.

The Ola Roadster is an upcoming electric bike from Ola Electric. Earlier, the patent images of the bike that surfaced online gave us our first look at the bike’s design. Along with the Roadster, designs of two other bikes have also been revealed.

The Ola Roadster comes with a sharp design and shares a lot in common with the Roadster concept that was unveiled before such as the headlight. It will come with a frame-mounted motor linked to a chain/belt drive. The most affordable Roadster will likely offer an equivalent performance as a 125cc petrol-powered bike or similar to the Revolt RV400.

The roadster is built on a double cradle frame. It is suspended on a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The bike in the patent images also has alloy wheels with fatter tyres, similar to what we have seen in the concept. We expect a TFT console with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Other than that, the bike will likely feature a 4-directional switchgear to navigate the console.

The roadster is likely to be launched between April and September 2025. It is expected to be priced between Rs 1.4 lakh to 1.7 lakh mark and will rival the Revolt RV400 and Tork Kratos R.
