Yamaha MT-15 Colours: Which One To Pick?

Apart from the standard ones, Yamaha also offers three different custom colours options for the MT-15

Yamaha India recently launched the MT-15’s latest variant, called the MotoGP Edition. It’s priced at Rs 1,47,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and gets only cosmetic updates. However, if you aren’t smitten by the new variant, here are all the other colours you can buy the MT-15 in. 

Metallic Black

The Yamaha MT-15 appears quite notorious, thanks to its distinctive fascia. Pair the overall styling with the Metallic Black paint and the aesthetic quotient gets quite a bump. Apart from the fork, disc and footrest assembly, every part is covered in black which gives the bike a stealthy look.

Dark Matt Blue

The Dark Matt Blue probably has to be the MT-15’s one of the most premium looking paint options. It goes well with the contrasting black elements. Moreover, the rim tape too offers a contrasting effect to the overall paint scheme. 

Ice Fluo-Vermillion

If you are looking to buy the MT-15 in a bright colour, then the Ice Fluo-Vermillion is the way to go. The bike is painted in contrasting shades of white and black which accentuate the bike’s proportions well. Furthermore, it also gets contrasting Red coloured alloys as standard which look even more appealing. 

Custom Colours:

Sans the standard options, Yamaha offers the same shades with different coloured graphics as well as alloys. 

Dark Matt Blue

The custom Dark Matt Blue body paint can be paired with four different painted alloys: Vermillion, Gold, Racing Blue and Neon Green. All four give the MT-15 quite a contrasting finish and also match the graphics on the fuel tank and the tank shrouds. If you want your bike to draw eyeballs and make a statement, then the Neon Green wheels are a no brainer. 

Metallic Black

Similar to the custom Dark Matt Blue, the custom Metallic Black can also be paired with four different paint options for the wheels and graphics. The most appealing combination in our opinion is the Metallic Black with Vermillion wheels. It accentuates the MT-15’s sharp bodywork.

Ice Fluo

Unlike the above two, Yamaha offers only three wheel colour options with the custom Ice Fluo paint, since the Vermillion is available with the standard paint. The custom Ice Fluo paired with the racing blue gives it the perfect dash of sporty appearance and sort of imitates the previous-gen Yamaha R1-M colours.
