Yamaha Motor India is known for keeping its products cosmetically refreshed with new colour schemes, recently the company launched the 2014 R15 with new colours and graphics, and now it has introduced 2014 Fazer, FZS ans FZ16 with refreshed colour schemes. The products have not received any technical updates, however, we expect the technically updated FZ series soon this year.
Yamaha has introduced three new paint jobs with each of three models and Fazer gets Ravine Red, Wilderness Black and Terrain White options. Yamaha FZ-S will come painted in Preying Red, Pouncing Black and Hawk-Eye Gold, while Panther Black, Raider Red and Ambush Blue colours has been introduced with the FZ-16.
All the three Bikes uses the same platform, while looks different due to some cosmetic changes. They are powered by a similar 153cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-Valve, single-cylinder engine mated with a 5-speed gearbox. Power figures are also similar with a maximum power of 14PS @7,500rpm and a peak torque of 13.6Nm @6,000rpm.
New Yamaha Fazer has been priced at Rs. 77,351, and the new Yamaha FZS will cost you Rs. 72,385, while the new Yamaha FZ16 beign most affordable among these, comes with a price tag of Rs. 70,411 (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
