We generally associate the Chinese auto manufacturers with replicating the designs of the bikes from mainstream brands. But here is the ADMS Boxer electric motorcycle, which is more or less an electrified knock-off of the iconic Hero Splendor. The e-bike was showcased at the Green Vehicles Expo 2022 by ADMS, a Belgaum-based EV manufacturer.
When looked at closely, the ADMS Boxer looks like a Hero Splendor with a boxy body kit. It gets the same rectangular headlight and taillight units. It also gets a similar twin-pod analogue cluster as the commuter and it displays speed, battery level indicator and trip meter. The battery pack seems to be placed right where an internal combustion engine (ICE) would be located, under the ‘fuel tank’.

Despite repeated attempts, ADMS refused to provide any technical specifications of the Boxer. However, the company claims that the bike can achieve a top speed of 55kmph and that it takes about four hours to completely charge. And from what can be seen via the images, it gets a brushless BLDC hub motor.
The e-bike flaunts a simple telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers suspension setup, and drum brakes at both ends handle braking.
