Royal Enfield is going to update its best-selling bike in India. The manufacturer has recently sent us a press invite, which hints at the unveiling and launch of the 2024 Classic 350, on August 12, 2024. The 350cc Royal Enfield bike will likely be updated with new features and colour schemes.
What could be updated on the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350?
The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 is expected to get a new LED headlight as standard along with an LED tail light and indicators. The 350cc roadster may also get new colours and graphics. While dual-channel ABS variants are available, the single-channel ABS variants will also continue.
2024 RE Classic 350: What would remain unchanged?
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 will continue to be powered by the 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder J-series engine that produces a peak output of 20.21PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 will continue with the same semi-digital instrument console. It has an analogue speedometer and a small LCD screen below it that shows the odometer, fuel levels and trip meters. The Classic 350 also has an optional Tripper navigation pod that offers turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts.
The hardware of the bike is also likely to remain unchanged. The Classic 350 has a 41mm telescopic fork and 6-step preload-adjustable twin shocks. Braking is handled by a 300mm disc at the front as standard. At the rear, the bike gets a 153mm drum (in single-channel ABS) or 270mm disc (in dual-channel ABS). The 350cc roadster rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke/alloy wheels and comes with 100-section front and 120-section rear tyres.
Royal Enfield Classic 350: Expected Price
The price of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 starts at Rs 1,93,080 and goes up to Rs Rs 2,24,755, ex-showroom. We think that the introductory prices might remain unchanged for the new model. However, the bike may receive a price hike of around Rs 3,000 - Rs 4,000 later.
The bike will continue to rival the other roadsters including Honda CB350, Honda H’ness CB350, Hero Mavrick 440, Jawa 350, Jawa 42, Benelli Imperiale 400, and its own retro-roadster sibling, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
