The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has been spotted at a dealership ahead of its official launch. The motorcycle gets some cosmetic and feature updates, including a new instrument console and fresh graphics. Here's a closer look at what has changed.
New Pulsar NS125
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has been spotted at a dealership with an LCD instrument console. It’s the same console that we have seen on the new Pulsar 125, and Pulsar N160 S.
The motorcycle also gets new graphics, which give the bike a fresher and sportier look. Apart from these changes, the overall design of the NS125 appears to remain unchanged.
Expected Variants & Features
The spotted motorcycle is expected to be the base variant of the upcoming updated Pulsar NS125. Just like the recently launched Pulsar 125, which comes in two variants having a TFT and an LCD console, we expect the updated NS125 to have a similar lineup.The NS125 will likely follow a similar approach, with the base variant getting the LCD console, while the higher-spec variant could get a TFT display and additional connected features.
Also, the current Pulsar NS 125 is sold in two variants - one that gets ABS, and the other that doesn’t. The bike seen here doesn’t have ABS ring on both wheels, indicating that this could be the non-ABS variant. The higher variant with the TFT display, could be the one with single-channel ABS.
Engine & Hardware
Mechanically, the updated Pulsar NS125 is expected to remain unchanged. It should continue to be powered by the 124.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine makes 12 PS and 11 Nm.
The suspension and braking hardware are also expected to remain unchanged, with the bike likely to continue with a telescopic fork and a monoshock.

While the addition of a new console and new colours are a welcome addition, we would like it if Bajaj updates the NS125 with the new engine found in the Pulsar 125. The reason being, the new engine makes slightly more power and torque (0.1 PS and 0.4 Nm) than the current engine on the NS125.
All said and done, it's been quite some time since the NS125 got a proper update, and we hope it does so now. The NS has always been a sportier bike than the standard Pulsar, and with the new updates we can expect the same from the NS125.

Overall, it is a quite good bike with good performance and minimal costs.
