F77 or Shadow? What do you think suits it the most?

  • Ultraviolette will launch its first all-electric motorcycle on November 13.
  • The company claims that it can go from 0-60kmph in 3 seconds.
  • It could be priced around Rs 2 lakh.

Earlier this week, Ultraviolette shared a teaser of its upcoming electric motorcycle, the F77. Apart from announcing the launch date of November 13, the dark teaser didn’t reveal much. However, the folks at Ultraviolette shared another teaser which highlights the front of the motorcycle. Now, if you look closer, you’ll find ‘Shadow’ written on the headlamp, which makes us believe that the F77’s production-version could be called Shadow.

The upcoming electric motorcycle from Ultraviolette will be an entry-level sporty motorcycle which will rival the Revolt RV400 and the upcoming Tork T6X. Powering the FF7/Shadow is a 25kW motor, which the manufacturer claims can help the electric motorcycle go from nought to 60kmph in 3 seconds flat! For perspective, that’s quicker than most of the sub-500cc motorcycles out there.

As of now, the company has shared only limited information about the batteries. But it has announced that the batteries can be charged via its Ultraviolette Energy Network charging stations. Customers can also use a home charger. We have done a detailed story on the upcoming F77/Shadow, which you can read here

We will get more information about the motorcycle on November 13, but most importantly, we’ll get to know whether it’ll be called the F77 or the Shadow. So stay tuned to BikeDekho for more updates.
