Triumph Tracker 400 Spotted With A TFT Console

The Tracker 400 could soon get a much-needed tech boost

The updated Triumph Tracker 400 has been spotted testing with a new digital console and a couple other things.

What We Know So Far

The test bike has been spotted with the new 4-inch TFT console, similar to the one seen on the recently launched Bonneville T40. This updated display will bring much-needed features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and ride modes, giving the bike a more premium appeal that was missing on the current-gen bike

The bike is also seen with updated switchgear featuring a new 4-way navigation button, which will be used to control the TFT screen. Also, while it's not clear from the image, we could expect the bike to get cruise control, as it was also recently spotted on the Triumph Thruxton 400. However, whether it will make its way to the Tracker 400 can only be confirmed once we get more details about the bike.

What's Unchanged

The rest of the bike appears to remain unchanged, including its styling, underpinnings, and engine. It continues to get the same flat-tracker-inspired design with a muscular tank, wide handlebars, and a single-piece seat, which gives it a unique character in the Triumph 400cc lineup.

The bike will be powered by a 349cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 40 PS and 32 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The underpinnings also appear to be unchanged, with the bike getting an inverted fork and a monoshock, while riding on 17-inch wheels with disc brakes at both ends.

BikeDekho Says

The addition of the TFT console will make the Triumph bike more appealing to buyers who want a tech-loaded motorcycle. The new console will feature Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and could also feature multiple ride modes, which will give the bike a much-needed tech boost. However, the added tech could make the bike more expensive. The Tracker 400 is currently priced at Rs 2,43,069 (ex-showroom), and we can expect the updated bike to be priced a bit higher.

This update will also make the Tracker 400 more competitive against rivals like the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, which already gets a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and ride modes.

All said and done, if you are planning to buy a Triumph Tracker 400 or any other Triumph bike, we would advise you to wait, if you are looking for more features. If not, you can very well go ahead with the purchase now, and maybe save some money as compared to the updated bikes.

Perfect bike for youngester

Looks like beauty with power. You will feel power when you ride this bike. Vibrations are very low and riding position is also very comfortable. You can easily go for a long drives because of comfortable sitting position. Suspension works very well. I have driven this bike from Patna to new Delhi and felt really comfortable but one minus point I felt is less capacity fuel tank capacity. As the mileage I get is 30 kmpl so If I full the fuel tank then I can go upto 400 kms so to go to Delhi, I had to refuel it for 3 time. I recommend this bike because of its looks the graphics of this bike, the posture of sitting position, the power of this bike, the premium feel of triumph, the quality of triumph, handling of this bike for city as well as long routes.
