he British motorcycle manufacturer - Triumph has officially revealed the engine specifications of its recently unveiled Bonneville Street twin model. The new Bonneville will come powered by a 900cc engine that claims to produce 54bhp of peak power at 5,900rpm along with a maximum torque of 80Nm at just 3,200rpm. Besides, the company has also disclosed the price of the new machine. Triumph Bonneville Street Twin has been priced at £ 7,300 (Rs. 7.34 lac) in the United Kingdom.

With the new motor in stock, the manufacturer claims 22 percent more power along with 18 percent increment in torque in comparison to the existing version. The fuel economy will also go up by 36 percent. Apart from the mechanical upgrades, new Bonneville receives black engine cases, an up-swept brushed stainless steel exhaust system and cast wheels. Other host of features include a traction control system with ride-by-wire technology that promises a more refined riding experience. Triumph has also retuned the chassis and suspension setup for an improved ride quality and optimum comfort of the rider and pillion. Furthermore, an under seat USB socket has also been provided to connect peripheral devices on the go. The bike also gets LED tail lamp and engine immobilizer that upgrades its value.

Talking of India, Triumph Bonneville Street Twin is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs. 6.5 lac to Rs. 7 lac. The present Bonneville model is available here at a price of Rs. 6,19,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and for this reason, the upcoming model is expected to get a higher price tag. The bike will arrive with 150 ‘dealer fit’ accessories along with three customization kits namely Scrambler, Brat Tracker and the Urban Inspiration. Triumph Street Twin will be available at the UK dealerships starting January 2016 and is expected to debut in India at the upcoming Auto Expo.
