The iconic British bike maker- Triumph has mysteriosuly de-tuned some of the motorcycles available in the Indian market. According to the official website of Triumph Motorcycle India, power and torque figure of the bikes have been reduced. First, we thought that the company might taking this strategy to provide more fuel efficient products, however, the fuel consumption figures on the website are unchanged.

Many sources are reporting that the Triumph Motorcycles India was selling the de-tuned spec bikes from the starting. The company has already mentioned in the terms and conditions of the website, "Triumph Motorcycles Limited reserves the right without prior notice to discontinue models, parts, accessories, clothing and other items or change specifications at any time without incurring any obligations." However, its not enough for the existing and new Triumph customers, and the company has to clear the matter officially along with a strong reason.
