The list comprises of tank grips, crash guards, a DC socket and much more

  • The Gixxer 250 is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
  • The add-ons are genuine accessories from Suzuki itself.
  • The official pricing for these accessories hasn’t been announced yet.

Suzuki recently launched the Gixxer 250 in India at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). And much like its younger sibling, the Gixxer 150, Suzuki has introduced a bunch of accessories to go along with the quarter-litre streetfighter.

To begin with, Suzuki offers knee grip tank protectors and tank pads. The former help your thighs grip the tank better, thereby allowing your legs to control the bike better, while the latter protects the fuel-tank from scuff marks and paint chips which are usually caused by your belt buckle or zipper rubbing against it.

One of the biggest problems while touring is your phone running out of juice. Well, with Suzuki’s genuine DC charging socket you can charge your phone on the go. Oh, and this charging socket also features a rain protection cover. To make the bike more touring friendly, you could also opt for a pair of saddlebags which go well with the Gixxer 250’s sporty design.

For added protection, Suzuki offers a couple of guards as optional extras. For instance, the engine guard protects the heart of the motorcycle along with crucial bodywork in case of an accident. While a skid plate protects the underside of the engine from the uneven surfaces and debris. Also on offer are a pair of knuckle guards which would prevent your brake and clutch levers from bending or breaking in case of a fall.

Suzuki hasn’t revealed the prices of these accessories just yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as they are out. So stay tuned for all the latest updates.

I have been using it since past 20 months and had some 12K+ drive on odometer, its very good bike for city traffic drive, powerful engine with nice road grip. Rear brake bite has to improve, rest all is fine.I do use it for long ride of 200 km + at a stretch , good performance on National highways, front seat has to improve little lot , as it causes pain on long run without brake in between.Read More

Suzuki Gixxer 250 Power Meets Precision

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is far from a Special bike It represents my passion for motorcycles. With affable stations that guarantee an affable lift, it’s popular with megacity commuters and excursionists. It’s unexpectedly effective, scoring over 40 km/l, and, of course, ultra-practical at the same time. Satiny with a passion for sport, and a spontaneous career flawlessly encapsulates my passion for handcrafted bikes. Being able to showcase my abilities and vocabulary on a Gixxer 250 that is far from perfect for the bike makes any help much more enjoyable.Read More
