Suzuki e-Access: Similar Price Alternatives

If the Suzuki e-Access doesn’t interest you, you can choose from a bunch of interesting models

Suzuki recently launched the e-Access in India, at Rs 1,88,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the brand’s first electric scooter ever to be launched, and for its price, you have some really diverse options to choose from. Here’s the top 5 alternatives list:

Ather 450 Apex

Ather’s flagship scooter – the Ather 450 Apex is priced at Rs 1,89,999 (effective ex-showroom, Bengaluru). If you want an electric scooter with exciting performance, which can be practical in your daily commutes, the Ather is quite a valid pick.

Hero Xpulse 210

If you want a capable off-roader that can handle bad roads with ease, you can take a look at the Hero Xpulse 210’s top-end variant, priced at Rs 1,71,283 (ex-showroom, Delhi). While making your daily commutes comfortable, it will also be a great companion on off-road trails.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Standard

For a similar price to the Suzuki e-Access, you can get one of the most popular retro bikes in India – the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 (Standard Black variant with dual-channel ABS). It is priced at Rs 1,87,038 (ex-showroom, Chennai). That said, the e-Access is all about the quietness, but the Bullet is all about its thumpy character.

Yamaha R15 M

Instead of the Suzuki e-Access, you can get one of the best entry-level sport bikes in India – the Yamaha R15 M. It costs Rs 1,81,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi). If corners are your calling, this is the bike that you should get.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

From Bajaj’s stable, we have the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, priced at Rs 1,98,830 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the most affordable 40PS motorcycle in India and comes with a bunch of modern features as well.

E-Access - Accessibility over High Performance.

wanted an electric alternative. had an activa generation 2 before this. rented this from a friend in another state and have been riding it ever since. And since suzuki has their own platform for e-service, i was interested to ride it and check it out overall. about alright. suspension is on the stiffer side but overall smooth! the seat comfort and height is very friendly, as compared to other scooters in the market, anyone in the 5ft in range can easily ride this without any fear. I would recommend this bike only if you ride short distances. This is the kind of EV that offers average range as compared to the bigger brands that have been around for a decent bit, not to name any names. Overall, a 3.8 rating from my end is a good standard rating.Read More
