Suzuki has launched the e-Access at Rs 1,88,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi). For that money, you get an electric scooter with a 3.07kWh LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) battery pack. That gives it a claimed range of just 95km! The scooter can be charged using a portable charger as well as a fast charger. The portable charger takes 6 hours 42 minutes to charge the battery completely, while the fast charger takes 2 hours and 12 minutes for the same.

The e-scooter has a 4.1kW, 15Nm electric motor. It has three ride modes (Eco, Ride Mode A, and Ride Mode B), and can reach a claimed top speed of 55kmph in Eco mode. In the other two modes, it can reach a claimed top speed of 71kmph.
Underpinnings of the Suzuki e-Access include a telescopic fork and a single-sided shock absorber. It gets a 190mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum unit, with a combined braking system for more safety. It rolls on 12-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in a 90-section front and a 100-section rear tubeless tyre.

It’s quite feature-packed as well with its all-LED lighting setup, and the 4.2-inch TFT instrument console. The fully-digital console The console is equipped with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS notifications, and even weather alerts.
The scooter comes in four colour schemes: Metallic Mat Black No.2 / Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace White / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, Pearl Jade Green / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray, and Metallic Mat Stellar Blue / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray. Bookings of the new e-scooter have started and it will also be available on Flipkart once its deliveries begin.
All said, it does a lot of things right, but you will have to take a test ride of the scooter to know if they do it right for its price.
