Suzuki Burgman Street 125 Facelift Spotted Testing: What To Expect?
The maxi-styled 125cc scooter seems to get a few design tweaks
Suzuki seems to be preparing to launch an upgraded version of its popular maxi-style scooter, the Burgman Street 125. Recently, the scooter was caught testing with proper camouflage. That said, its overall design outline still looked similar to the current-gen Burgman, hinting at a slight update, perhaps a facelift. This comes after the manufacturer recently updated its entire scooter range - upgrading all to be OBD-2B-compliant, and offering new colour options. Here are the highlights of the facelifted test mule:
Design
The most obvious change is a more angular rear end, possibly with a new LED tail light design. It looks somewhat similar to the sporty Avenis 125. The exhaust has also been updated, looking very much like the one on the 2025 Access 125, with a chrome heat shield. While the front-end isn’t properly visible, we wouldn’t be surprised if Suzuki slightly tweaked the headlight design for a sleeker look.
Features
The spied scooter gets the same LCD instrument cluster as before, so expect the feature-list to remain unchanged. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as the current-gen scooter is already well-equipped with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, silent starter and idle stop-start system, depending on the variant.

The revised Burgman Street will likely not see any change in the 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled mill outputting 8.6PS and 10Nm, coupled with an automatic transmission. The engine has recently been updated to meet the latest OBD-2B emission norms. The alloy wheels, the front disc and rear drum brake setup, are also expected to not change. While the front end gets a 12-inch wheel, it’s unclear whether the rear is a 10-inch wheel like the standard Burgman or a 12-inch one as the Burgman EX.
Expected Price, Launch And Rivals
Since Suzuki just updated the Burgman Street 125 to comply with the latest emission norms, the launch of the facelifted model is still a few months away. Expect the Japanese bikemaker to launch the updated version later this year, probably around the festive season in October 2025. With the added updates and potential feature additions, a minor price increase can be expected. To put things into perspective, the current Burgman Street 125 is priced at Rs 95,800 (ex-showroom). With the facelift, the price can increase - potentially getting close to the Rs 1 lakh mark. It’ll go up against the Aprilia SXR125, which is the only other maxi-style scooter in the 125cc segment. While the facelift is not entirely necessary as the Suzuki Burgman still looks modern enough, it’s still good to see Suzuki trying to actively improve its product.

It is very good for long distances and the mileage is also good. I have ridden it for 400 kms in one go. It is a very good scooter and is amazing. Try it, it is a very good scooter, I have driven it in the mountains, it gives a very smooth ride. Mileage is good but parts are expensive and its service is also costly. Other scooters are better than other scooter. There is another problem with this, you can drive in the city but it is a bit heavy for the streets and neighbourhood. If you have to travel long distances then this scooter is the best option for you. I wanted it for long drives and wanted a light weight scooter, that's why I bought it. If your budget is less than 1 lakh then You can try other scooters, otherwise this is the best. Read More
one of the best maximum scooter in india it is very comfortable for long drive and city ride, mileage is excellent around 50 km. But maintenance cost is little bit expensive than other scooter. overall it is very nice scooty. I'm also Burgman lover. Burgman rocks. Maintenance cost is bit expensive, fibre body parts quality is not very good and up to the mark. Suzuki should improve better fibre built quality. fuel tank capacity should be 6ltr. Fibre quality is very cheap quality than other scooter. I will suggest who is looking for styling performance, and good mileage. Go for suzuki Burgman street. It is perfect for any age group, long seat, not any back pain for long drive. It is very comfortable for long drive and city drive.Read More
