Spied: Production Ready 400cc Ducati Scrambler

Few days earlier, we reported that a 400cc engined Ducati Scrambler might be under works. Now, we have come up with spy images of what seems to be the production ready model of above stated bike. If everything works fine, the new Scrambler might make its entry to Indian shores as it will carry a lower price tag than the existing Scrambler.

The Italian magazine Motociclismo claims that the Ducati in spy images will come powered by a 400cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that will churn out power somewhere around 50bhp. The bike seems majorly inspired from present 800cc Scrambler. However, a few changes that came to our notice were usual telescopic forks at front and round-shaped rear view mirrors. The front and rear wheel gets single disc brakes for responsive braking and proper feedback from brake levers. Furthermore, a rear monoshock also maintains its presence here like the ongoing Scrambler. Besides, LED ring on headlight is also seen in the 400cc bike.

If launched in India, the 400cc Scrambler might prove a big game changer for company due to low pricing and robust styling. Besides features mentioned above, you can also expect an LCD instrument cluster with interchangeable covers, LED tail lamp unit and an under seat USB port that Ducati offers in the 800cc Scrambler.
