Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Electric Bike Showcased Before EICMA 2024
Here’s our look at the first production Royal Enfield electric bike
Royal Enfield has unveiled their first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6 before EICMA 2024. After many weeks of spy shots and teasers, we have now got a clearer look at this upcoming Royal Enfield electric bike and what it has to offer.
The Royal Enfield Flying Flea gets a retro-inspired design that is similar to that of the original Flying Flea motorcycles used in world war 2. The original was meant to be a 125cc single cylinder 2-stroke bike which could be airdropped via parachute behind enemy lines.
The electric bike manages to pay homage to the original Flying Flea. It gets around LED headlight and panels that resemble a fuel tank, added for aesthetic reasons. It features a battery pack mounted where the engine usually sits, and the brand has also given it cooling fins which adds to the retro appeal overall.
The battery pack looks quite big and Royal Enfield claims it will be able to offer enough range for city commutes and more. The brand had stated that the Flying Flea is meant for city+ performance, which likely means that the e-bike could offer more range than a typical commuter electric motorcycle.
The bike is built on a flowing forged aluminum frame, which is meant to reduce the weight and also to make the bike more agile and easy to handle. The suspension setup used consists of a girder fork and monoshock.
The usage of a girder fork is an interesting addition, as it is something which we don’t get to see often on bikes other than those from the 30s and 40s. The Flying Flea gets 19-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking setup consists of twin discs at both ends.
Features wise, the e-bike gets a round TFT console, which looks similar to the one we have seen on the Himalayan 450 and the Guerrilla 450 but with a different layout. It offers smartphone connectivity and related features such as turn-by-turn navigation. The bike also gets electronic riding aids such as lean sensitive ABS and cruise control.
Overall, the Flying Flea looks quite good and does a good job paying homage to the original Flying Flea motorcycles used in world war 2, albeit in an electric avatar. The bike is expected to be launched in mid-2026.
Along with this, Royal Enfield has also revealed that the Flying Flea is a platform and they will be offering more electric products down the line based on this. The brand also teased a scrambler derivative of the same called the S6.
This bike features a enduro-inspired design, with an inverted fork offering more wheel travel (60 percent more). It will also offer better performance with stronger acceleration to suit the enduro/off-road characteristic.

It's not worth bike. And the. Battery is okay but it's not efficient for people who are having high weights. And with some improvement in the design bike may look too good
