Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Tested In Leh: Official Teaser Out
Royal Enfield seems to be pushing the electric bike to its limits on the uphill roads of Leh-Ladakh
[Update: The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 was spotted again recently, being tested on an open stretch of highway]

Royal Enfield recently released a video on its social media channels, for its electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea?C6. The brand’s first electric bike was being put to challenging conditions, with the first one being an Incline Test. Along with this, all the testing will be documented in a video format called the “Ride?&?Tested” series. The test helps in getting a sense of the C6’s real-world performance, while also showcasing the potential customers of what all it is capable of doing. Here’s the full video:
The video series shows that Royal Enfield has been testing the Flying Flea in the difficult terrain of Leh. In this Incline Test, multiple Flying Flea test bikes were ridden on some steep inclines, down hills, rough patches - basically everything that Leh could throw at it. This was done with and without pillion, and using different ride modes available on the e-bike. While Royal Enfield seems pretty happy with how the results turned out, we’ll be able to give the verdict only after we get a chance to ride this electric motorcycle. You can also catch a quick glimpse of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric in the background - indicating that both the Royal Enfield electric bikes are being tested at the same time.

Overall, the Flying Flea C6 combines Royal Enfield’s signature retro styling with a modern touch. The bike gets a mid-mounted motor with a belt drive that is expected to provide performance equivalent to a 125cc or 150cc bike. It uses an aluminum chassis along with girder-style front fork and 18-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The e-bike gets a round LED headlight, split seating, and some subtle yet important touches to make it look like a machine for the future. The key feature of this e-bike is a TFT console (will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor), which is expected to be a touch screen unit with connectivity features like navigation and call/SMS alerts. It will also have keyless start, and modern switchgear that looks different from any other Royal Enfield bikes sold currently.
BikeDekho Says
Royal Enfield’s Flying Flea?C6 is expected to be launched by mid 2026, at a price of around Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This will mark the brand’s entry into the electric motorcycle space. There will not be any natural rivals for this upcoming Royal Enfield as it will be more of a lifestyle bike that showcases how far technology can go in a commercial electric two-wheeler.
