Royal Enfield, the ever best choice of royalties is now planning to set up a new manufacturing plant at Sri city in Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The reason being for the company to think over this is increasing demands for the Royal Enfield products and the delays caused in the supply. The company is in talk with the Indian Government regarding land but yet has not reached a final conclusion with it. Royal Enfield has been one of the most famous company with its outstanding models like Royal Enfield Bullet, Royal Enfield Bullet Classic, Royal Enfield Thunderbird and Royal Enfield Fury which is soon to reach the markets.
As per reports, total investment to be done by the company accounts Rs. 250 crores which is planned to be spent in two parts. Royal Enfield, the company says that it will invest Rs. 150 crores initially so as to generate a production of 1.5 lakh motorcycles per year and then would increase its capacity up to 2.5 lakh units after two years.
The company promises to be environment friendly with the establishment of this new manufacturing plant. With its already existing models like Royal Enfield Bullet, Royal Enfield Bullet Classic and Royal Enfield Thunderbird, the company plans to develop some more new and efficient models with an engine capacity of 700 cc to 1000 cc. The company also declares to increase its exports as well as domestic demands.
