Ather Energy has announced its third ‘Ather Community Day’, which will be held in Bengaluru on August 30, 2025. It is a yearly event where Ather unveils its latest products and showcases the latest tech it has been working on. The event will be free for all this time, unlike the last two, which were exclusively held for Ather e-scooter owners. Here’s all that we can expect from the event:
New ‘EL’ Scooter Platform
Ather recently teased its new ‘EL’ electric scooter platform on its social media handles. The new platform will be unveiled at the event, and this will give birth to a range of affordable e-scooters from the brand. The teaser video shows that the first e-scooter under this platform has a family-friendly design and will be the brand’s attempt at acquiring first-time EV buyers. Being an affordable e-scooter, we think it will most likely be offered with the BaaS (Battery As A Service) scheme to lower its upfront cost. After all, Ather debuted EVs with BaaS pricing on the Rizta 450S & 450X range recently. That said, the launch of the final product will still take some time, probably in early 2026. Expect the upcoming affordable Ather electric scooter to be priced at around Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom).
Concept Showcase
Ather’s CEO Tarun Mehta, had posted a teaser on his ‘X’ profile (formerly Twitter), which hints at a sporty electric scooter concept.Towards the end of the teaser, there also appears to be an electric bike concept - and if our guess is right, it’ll be Ather’s first attempt at making an electric bike.
We have got something special lined up for this Community Day.

Newer Tech
Along with all these updates, we might get to see the Ather Stack 7.0 software update and faster charging technology. The new software update will ensure a better user experience, and will provide more accurate rider stats. With the new charging tech, expect the charging time to go down considerably when compared to the current generation of the scooters. Just like how Ather offers the software-based upgrades to most of its older EVs, expect the same to happen this time around as well.
We will be reporting live from the event, so stay tuned to BikeDekho for more updates.
