MV Agusta Records 30 Per cent Growth in Sales in 2015 Globally

The Italian manufacturer, MV Agusta, is enjoying its success in the premium motorcycle segment globally. The company has touched the yearly benchmark of 9,000 units, thanks to the strong market and export numbers. In comparison to the last year, the United Kingdom has witnessed a great success with an increase of 140 percent in sales figures. Though, the domestic sales figures remain unchanged. Along with it, company has recorded a 54 percent sales increment in Spain, a hike of 26 percent in Germany and a 14 percent has been achieved in Switzerland as well. The Italian manufacturer has also shown a uniform growth in the Far East with an increase in sales up to 12 percent.

As per the manufacturer, it has recorded the highest growth in sales numbers this year. According to the company, Turismo Veloce and Dragster RR models have majorly contributed to this success, as they are the best sellers followed by the MV Agusta Brutale 800, that raised about 35 percent of total revenue for MV Agusta.

Exactly one year ago, the MV Agusta and Mercedes–AMG entered into a partnership and during this tenure, both the manufacturers have developed their products unitedly which were showcased across the globe at several motor shows of Geneva, Frankfurt and Tokyo.

Earlier at the German auto show, the F3 concept bike “inspired by AMG” was unveiled right next to its “twin” AMG Supercar.

Giovanni Castiglioni, the President and CEO has stated: “2015 has been a very important year for MV Agusta. With the launch of the Turismo Veloce, we have created the first Touring MV Agusta, a motorcycle that differentiates itself from its competitors by introducing a whole new dimension and experience to traveling, touring that excites your emotions.”

In India, MV Agusta has been launched by the Kinetic Group through its initiative “Motoroyale” and it has already finalised MV Agusta dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
