The leading European motorcycle brand- KTM has launched its RC 200 in India with a price tag of Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike shares the chassis with its streetfighter sibling- Duke 200, which is already available in the Indian market. However, body work of the bike is based on the lines of high-end supersport motorcycle- RC 8R.
The KTM RC 200 has been styled like a proper superbike with a full body fairing and lots of racing elements. The bike gets a large wing shield, dual projector headlamps, masculine fuel tank, split seat, clip-on handlebars, dual disc brakes, inverted front forks, rear monoshock and wide track type tyres.
Powering the bike is a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine, which uses a fuel injection system for better performance. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, it is capable to churn out a maximum power of 25bhp along with a peak torque of 19.2Nm.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Amit Nandi, Sr. Vice President Bajaj Probiking said,“KTM has grown by 120% in the current financial year. With the RC’s we expect KTM to be by far the fastest growing motorcycle brand in India.“

i've had the ktm rc 200 for a while , its been an amazing bike overall .the performance is excellentwith a smooth ride and soild handling thats make it perfect for both city commutes and long rides, THE engine is powerfull and responsive and the braking system offers great control .the design is sleek and sporty which adds to overall appeal
