KTM 390 Adventure: Features Explained

TFT console, traction control, switchable ABS, riding modes and more!

KTM has recently launched the highly-anticipated 390 Adventure in India. The Adventure bike has been extensively redesigned for the 2025 model year. It now comes with a new rally-inspired design, more power, better off-road and on-road capabilities and a range of features. It is available in two colour schemes Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.

Here’s what features the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure offers:

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure comes with an all-LED lighting setup. It has a projector headlamp at the front, surrounded by sleek LED DRLs (daytime running lights). The bike gets the same 5-inch LCD instrument console as the KTM 390 Duke. It also gets smartphone connectivity features which provide call and SMS alerts, music controls and turn-by-turn navigation.

The adventure bike is equipped with a number of rider aid features including cruise control, switchable traction control, cornering traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, slip-and-assist clutch, and bidirectional quickshifter as well. It also gets 3 ride modes – street, rain and off-road. The 390 Adventure has a generous 14.5-litre fuel tank, which is claimed to deliver over a 400km range.

For braking, the KTM 390 Adventure features a 320mm front disc with a radially-mounted calliper and a 240mm rear disc with a floating calliper. The ADV also gets a cornering ABS along with a switchable rear ABS which allows you to slide the rear tyre, providing controlled braking while riding the bike on the off-road.

In terms of suspension, the adventure bike comes equipped with a 43mm WP Apex inverted fork with 200mm suspension travel and a WP Apex monoshock with 205mm suspension travel, both fully adjustable.

More about the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure

2025 KTM 390 Adventure Rivals:

Ready to Adventure.

I also have a Duke, Adv has covered all the issues which I have faced on Duke when I use to go on long rides, Ride is also plush coupled with a great engine which proves itself on all grounds. Also it has a decent fuel efficiency considering its engine performance. Bike's comfortable its mileage is also good I get a decent range, but the engine won't feel as raw as BS4 duke, great electronics and safety. Just having engine oil consumption on higher side. Also the Trampler tyres give more life than Turanzas which came initially. Long hauling person should definitely buy this bike, long rides are so hassle free. And comfortable, also if you have to carry any luggage they have provided good anchoring points. Tieing a back pack or a duffle bag is easy.Read More

review of KTM 390 Adventure S after 2 months

I wanted one bike that could handle daily city rides, long highway tours and occasional bad roads. the riding posture, safety features and performance focus made this a perfect all rounder also the road presence is really exceptional Very confident and planted on highways, cruises comfortably at high speeds. Suspension feels great in the city and even better on rough roads. Engine is punchy and fun, mileage is really good for the power, love the throttle response and breaking capabilities Definitely yes, if you love touring, weekend rides and want performance with comfort. Ideal for pune's surprising roads, a little tall but perfect for riders who enjoy long rides, highways and light off-roading.Read More
