It is actually the new-generation motorcycle but with a BS4-compliant motor

It is actually the new-generation motorcycle but with a BS4-compliant motor

  • The Kawasaki Z900 Special Edition comes with a TFT instrument cluster, traction control, riding modes and more!
  • The motorcycle costs Rs 29,100 more than the previous-generation model.
  • It is a limited edition motorcycle and the deliveries will commence by the end of February 2020.

The Kawasaki Z900 Special Edition, essentially the newly unveiled 2020 Kawasaki Z900 but in a BS4-compliant guise, has been launched in India. So apart from a not-so-clean motor, you get all the features of the new model. This motorcycle is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom India), which makes it Rs 29,100 more than the previous generation Z900. Interestingly, Kawasaki says the launch price applies to customers who purchase the motorcycle with full payment till March 20, 2020. Also, the motorcycle is limited edition, so the bookings will close once the brand reaches its targetted numbers.

That means, a substantial price hike is inevitable once the bike is updated to comply with Euro 5 / BS6 emission norms. So Kawasaki is trying to allure customers to experience the updated motorcycle at a lower price point with the compromise of cleaner emissions. Here’s the brand’s press release:

Thrill and Practicality in One Package

Buying the Kawasaki Z900 was a great experience, the dealership was helpful and made delivery smooth. the bike looks stunning with its aggressive streetfighter design and always grabs attention. Riding comfort is good for city use and even better on highways, with smooth power delivery and strong performance from the 948cc engine. The exhaust not is addictive, and braking is very reliable. Servicing is slightly costly but worth it if maintained regularly. Overall, the Z900 is a perfect mix of style, power, and everyday usability.Read More

Pro and cons of z900

Bike is good but for looks it is not that approaching, because of the naked segment bike. But the performance is unbeatable around this price point in the whole market of super bikes in India, in short we can say that a budget friendly bike that have immense weight to power ratio in this segment you can increase its looks by adding some minimal mods to that.Read More
