Features Bluetooth connectivity as standard, but demands a steep price

After announcing its intention to launch eight products this festive season, Hero MotoCorp has now launched the Xtreme Stealth Edition 2.0 with a price tag of Rs 1,29,738 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new variant demands a premium of Rs 5932 over the previous Stealth Edition model which was launched last year. So, what does the new variant have to offer?

The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 comes with a not-so-stealthy black and red paint combination. While the body panels are finished in the dark colour, bits like the fork tubes, engine head, pillion footrest and grab rail along with graphics and rim stickers are finished in the contrasting bright red paint. Lastly, it also gets knuckle guards and a larger belly pan.

But the changes on this variant are more than cosmetic. Hero MotoCorp has introduced the ‘Hero Connect’ feature which brings with it smartphone connectivity. This includes features like geo fence alert, speed alert, topple alert and tow away alert. Unfortunately, Hero has chosen to skimp out on call/sms alerts and navigation.

There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle, and it continues to use the same 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, making 15.2PS and 14Nm. It even retains the same suspension and brake setup. However, the bike’s kerb weight has gone up from 139.5kg to 143kg.

The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 goes up against the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar N160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160. While the new variant of the Xtreme does command a big hike, Hero has tried justifying it with a few feature updates. The good news, however, is that these features could be offered as standard on other trims next year, just like we saw with the 2022 Xtreme 160R

I would be very thankful to Hero for the bike they have made special for 160. I did a ride to Nagpur to ladakh and it was like a 160 cc bike cant do that but unfortunately I did . It was like impossible to possible. The whole credit goes to Hero how bike has been designed and the speed mileage . It feels like no problem even the off-roading also feel like I am sitting in a 4-5 Lakhs bike. Heads off to Hero again. Yes absolutely this bike is like a heaven for middle class people the style, the looks and many more totally worth for the value of the bike. I would always recommend this bike for everyone. There is no negative point first of all . And yeah I would love to express more but yeah that's all for now.

Hero bikes are the Best my fav.
I chose the Hero Xtreme 160R because it offers a perfect mix of power, comfort, and style. Its smooth to ride in city traffic, handles well on highways, and is easy to maintain. I have one previous model of 2011 already. Ride has been smooth and enjoyable so far. The bike feels light, handles traffic easily, and stays stable on highways. Power delivery is clean, braking feels confident, and comfort is good for daily rides. Yes, I would recommend it. The bike is comfortable, easy to ride, and performs well in daily use. It looks good, gives decent mileage, and is reliable for both city and highway riding. Service cost is good and pocket friendly.

Excellent Bike, A good Choice for Long Ride Enjoy
Hero Xtreme 160 R gave me a thrilling Long Drive experience with its 160 cc Engine and smooth Acceleration up to max 110 Kmph and No vibrations at cruising speeds; It is perfect for Hyderabad roads. Suspension absorbs potholes well, offered me very comfort. However, it gave me maximum 43 km per 1 ltr petrol. Its breaking system is wonderful, even in an emergency Stops. It's highly recommended for Fun and Practical Ownership.

I chose the bike For the performance and the advanced features of the it. The most favourite part is of it's look and the LED light Of course it has good mileage per 1L fuel and also it has comfortable weight for a beginner Pros are- The most favourite part is of it's look and the LED light Of course it has good mileage per 1L fuel and also it has a comfortable weight for a beginner to ride ....... Cons- Seat could be more comfortable. Digital Meter could be more advanced like others. Of course I will recommend one to buy this bike.... Mostly everyone can buy but it will be a good suggestion for a beginner who wants a New Bike. I don't know about the long ride for travelling but in a mid range upto 100-150kms rides it's an excellent choice.
