Hero MotoCorp recently unveiled its much-awaited adventure bike, the Hero Xpulse 450, at EICMA 2026. It gets proper ADV styling, a tall stance and more importantly a tall seat height of 848 mm. Here's a closer look at how it looks:
In the reel above, it has been showcased that if you are 5 feet 9 inches tall, you can easily tiptoe with both feet or comfortably flat-foot with one foot. If you are above 6 feet 2 inches, you should be able to comfortably flat-foot with both feet.
Coming to the riding position, the scooped seat should allow you to sit snugly while riding. Its narrow seat profile should also make it easier for shorter riders to tiptoe the bike, giving them more confidence when coming to a stop or managing the bike in tricky situations.
The Xpulse 450 gets an upright riding position, while the fuel tank has been sculpted to easily accommodate your knees, which should make the rider’s triangle comfortable. But, if you are someone who is short and has got a bulky build, reaching the handlebar could be slightly uncomfortable, as the fuel tank might come in your way.

All said, seat height shouldn't be a major deciding factor when choosing a bike. You can always get comfortable with the motorcycle’s seat height and learn how to manoeuvre it over time. The Xpulse 450's ride comfort and overall ergonomics can only be judged properly once the bike is launched and we get a chance to ride it.
