The popular American leisure motorcycle brand - Harley Davidson has launched its most affordable cruiser-Street 750 in India at the Indian Auto Expo 2014, New Delhi. The company has priced the bike at Rs.4.1 lakh and it will be available at the 13 exclusive H-D dealerships across the country. What is worth appreciating is that the company has managed to launch a cruiser at such low price without compromising with the quality that the brand offers. The bookings for the bike will commence from 1st March.

Street 750 has been designed on all new platform, which has all the features of a proper cruising machine along with a sporty design. Street 750 sports a new Revolution X engine, which is a 749cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, V-Twin, which has been designed for the power on demand philosophy. The engine has been tuned for city commuting as well as for highway cruising. Using EFI technology, the engine churns out  a peak torque of 65Nm arriving at 4,000rpm. The bike will come mated with a six-speed constant mesh transmission to control the power on its smooth belt drive.

Harley Street 750 gets a wide tear-drop fuel-tank with a low mounted seat and high mounted handle-bar. The combination provides a very comfortable seating arrangement with telescopic forks at the front and spring loaded hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. It gets disc brakes on both the front and the rear wheels, which ensures safety and quick control. The bike gets an exciting all Black theme, which enhances the sportiness in the bike. A 2 in 1 single exhaust is looking quite decent and creating perfect potato-potato sound.

A big customization range will also be available for the Street 750, so you can custom your bike according to your interest. This is really an H-D bike for Rs.4.1 lakh and a great deal to go with Thus, it directly competes with the new offering in India- Triumph Boneville.

Sagar Basandani, the favorite among his team, is a budding journalist, who has all eyes for bikes. His passion for bikes is incomparable, though he fishes out comfort in the company of all mean machines on wheels rather than in girls of his age! Silent yet witty, Sagar is still in college, but writing all for his love for bikes and cars. Usually calm in his ways, he gets suddenly ignited with bikes and cars around him. And it's nothing new for his family and friends, they have seen him hanging with his machines, though as a child his machines were plastic made! A fresher in the town, Sagar has a burning urge in him to excel in whatever he attempts, and a lot more when it's about cars and bikes. Confident, hard-working, cheerful, enthusiastic, always eager to learn, hopeful, optimistic, funny, fun to hang around with, are a few Sagaristic adjectives buzzing these days!
