Triumph Motorcycles India could introduce four new colour options for the Speed T4, adding a fresh touch to its modern classic design. The T4 is currently available in a total of three colour options.

New Colours

Right now, the Triumph Speed T4 is available in these paint schemes: Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Cocktail Red Wine. And as per our dealer source, it could be getting four new colours, two of which we know the names of: Phantom Black/Graphite/Pearl Metallic White and Phantom Black/Graphite Grey/Storm Grey. All the new colours are triple-tone, and have a design similar to the Speed 400, with a thin grey stripe on the fuel tank in the middle that acts as a separator for the different shades.

Engine

The Speed T4 continues to be powered by a 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 31PS at 7,000rpm and 36Nm at 5,000rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox, with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Underpinnings

The T4 is the more affordable alternative to the Speed 400, so gets a telescopic fork instead of the golden coloured inverted one, but the same monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm front and a 230mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS. It rolls on 17-inch wheels, with a 110-section front and a 140-section rear tyre.

BikeDekho Says

With the introduction of these new colour options, Triumph is aiming to keep the Speed T4 fresh and appealing to a wide range of riders. More details about the remaining two colours and availability are expected to be revealed soon. The bike recently has also received a price cut of Rs 18,000 on its ex-showroom price. The T4 goes up against rivals like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Hero Mavrick 440, Honda CB350RS, and the Jawa 42 FJ.
