The leading Indian two wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp Limited (HMCL) has been made available the HF-Deluxe ECO at Hero dealerships, with a price tag of Rs. 50,500 (on-road, Delhi). The bike was already revealed in October 2013 with other updated products and again showcased publicly at the Auto Expo 2014. The company has launched the bike silently, without any launch event. However, they have released a television commercial titled 'Desh ka Sabse Bada Talent Show' and the bike has been introduced as 'Naya Indian' in it.
The new Hero HF-Deluxe ECO shares the platform of HF-Deluxe along with its 97.2cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, OHC engine. Mated with a 4-speed gearbox, the engine bells out a maximum power of 7.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.04Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. The bike gets a new ECO green paint scheme with some cosmetic changes to improve efficiency.
Hero HF-Deluxe gets aero rear view mirrors and stylish air foils on leg guards to improve aerodynamics ofthe bike. It also gets new tyres with low rolling friction to reduce power loss in friction. Apart from these changes, the bike remains same including its trapezoidal headlamp, bikini fairing, fuel tank, seat, cowls, five-spoke alloys and others.

- City ride with Hf deluxeI chose the HF Deluxe because it is known for reliability, low maintenance cost, and excellent fuel efficiency, which suits daily commuting needs. Being a product from Hero MotoCorp, it also gives confidence in terms of service network and resale value. The ride so far has been quite smooth and comfortable for city use. The seat is well cushioned and the suspension handles rough roads decently. Mileage is a strong point easily giving around 65 to 70 km per litre which makes it very economical. The bike is lightweight so handling is easy especially in traffic, However speed and power are limited it is not built for aggressive riding On highways it performs okay at moderate speeds 50 to 70 km per hour but feels slightly underpowered if you try to push beyond that. - Basic FeaturesI have been riding my Hero HF Deluxe (2012 Model) for over 13 years now. Even after so much time, the engine is still very reliable and the maintenance cost is extremely low. It is the best bike for daily rough use and still provides great fuel efficiency. Pros:Excellent Mileage: Even after 13 years, it gives amazing mileage on the road. Low Maintenance: Spare parts are cheap and easily available everywhere. Durability: The build quality is very strong; it handles rough roads easily.Engine: Hero's 100cc engine is still smooth and starts in one kick.
