Celebrating its 90th anniversary, Ducati has announced Rs 90,000 off on the current price of the Scrambler, now starting at Rs 6.07 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Founded in 1926, Ducati has completed 90 years of existence this year, achieving an important milestone in the history of the iconic Italian company. On the occasion of the brand's 90th anniversary, Ducati India is giving a discount of Rs 90,000 as a celebratory offer on its Scrambler range in the country. The offer is valid on all four variants, including the Scrambler Icon, Classic, Urban Enduro and Full Throttle, until December 31st, 2016.

After applying the offer discount, the Ducati Scrambler Icon (Red) is available at Rs 6.07 lakh, while the Classic, Urban Enduro and Full Throttle variants are available at Rs 7.28 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Already the most affordable motorcycle in the Italian manufacturer's line-up, the Scrambler now becomes an even more tempting deal to go for. This offer is a good chance for those who are willing to buy a Ducati on a tight budget and are about to deplete their savings for becoming a Ducatisti. Also, those who were already going to buy the Scrambler can now spend the saved money on riding gears and other additional accessories.

Powered by an 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin engine, the Ducati Scrambler is a ride-anywhere fun motorcycle. Inspired by the Ducati Scrambler of 1968, the new bike gets a retro-modern styling that looks quite interesting. Apart from that, it comes with modern features like inverted front forks, offset rear shock with pre-load and rebound adjustability, performance disc brakes by Brembo, ABS as standard, fully digital instrument cluster and much more, that makes it a complete package for beginners in performance biking.

Commenting on Ducati's success in the Indian market, Ravi Avalur, managing director of Ducati India, said, “In little less than two years, we have achieved great growth and our entire range has been very well received by the Indian market. We would like to thank our Ducatisti and Desmo Owners Clubs for making this a very special year for us.”

Besides the 90th anniversary offer, the recently launched finance schemes in partnership with Yes Bank are also valid on these purchases. Ducati says that Yes Bank is providing the best finance options available today in the segment for periods up to seven years. Moreover, customers can also enjoy a special scheme where up to three EMI payments will be reduced by Ducati.
