DSK Benelli Tornado 302 and TRK 502 at IBW 2016

After unveiling them at 2016 Auto Expo, DSK Benelli showcases the upcoming Tornado 302 and TRK 502 at the running India Bike Week 2016. Mr. Sirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels Pvt Ltd, raised the curtains from the motorcycles and unveiled them in the front of IBW crowd.

Benelli Tornado 302 is a fully-faired sport tourer that is expected to be launched in the country by mid-2016 with a price tag of around Rs. 3.5 lac. The motorcycle is powered by a 300cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that has been tuned to pump out 34.8bhp of maximum power at 12,000rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 9,000rpm. It comes blessed with the features like USD front forks, rear adjustable mono shock, dual front and single rear disc brakes, steel trestle frame, wide tyres and much more. With all the features and expected pricing of the motorcycle, it seems to be a direct rival of the existing Yamaha R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.

The adventure tourer- Benelli TRK 502 is a complete mid-weight touring package with features like fat USD forks at the front, aerodynamic fairing to reduce wind blast, spoke wheels with dual purpose tyres, a 20-litre fuel tank and a lot more. Powering the bike is a new 499.6cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that has been tuned to make 46.9bhp and torque up to 45Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a hydraulic clutch providing effortless shifting.
