Benelli TNT 25 Launch

DSK-Benelli has launched TNT 25 in India today. The motorcycle is launched in two trims, Standard - priced at Rs. 1.68 lac and Premium - priced at Rs. 1.75 lac (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The difference between both variants is in the tyres. Where the Standard variant uses MRF tyres, the Premium trim gets grippier Metzeler rubber. TNT 25 houses a 249cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC, liquid cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 28.16 bhp at 9,800 rpm with a peak torque of 21.61 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox having a 1-down 5-up setup. The suspension duties are carried out by inverted telescopic forks up front and mono shock absorber at the rear end. The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels which are equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. As of now, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is not present with the motorcycle but the company might launch its ABS version in the coming months. TNT 25 will rival the likes of Mahindra Mojo 300 and KTM Duke 390.
