BREAKING: Suzuki Access 125 ABS Launched At Rs 92,328: FULL DETAILS HERE

It has been launched in two variants, they differ based on the console

Suzuki has expanded its popular family scooter lineup with the launch of new access 125 variants equipped with single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). The update focuses on improving braking safety while retaining the scooter’s trusted everyday usability.

How Much Does It Cost?

The Suzuki Access 125 ABS is available in two new variants:

  • The Access Ride Connect ABS Edition is priced at Rs 92,328

  • The Access Ride Connect TFT ABS Edition costs Rs 98,378

(both prices ex-showroom, Delhi)

What Is It?

  • A new top-spec, ABS-equipped version of the Suzuki Access 125

  • Designed to add extra braking confidence during hard braking

  • Continues to offer the same comfort, mileage, and practicality the Access is known for

  • Gets two digital display choices – LCD and full-colour TFT

Think of it as the same familiar Access, but now with an added layer of safety.

Numbers That Matter

  • 160mm ground clearance helps the scooter deal with speed breakers and rough roads easily

  • 106-107kg kerb weight keeps it light and manageable for riders of all experience levels

  • 5.3-litre fuel tank combined with a good real-world mileage makes it ideal for daily commuting

  • Well-shaped 24.4-litre underseat boot is big enough for a half-face helmet and daily groceries

Engine Talk – Same Reliable & Efficient Performer

The Access 125 ABS continues with Suzuki’s well-known engine that prioritises refinement and efficiency for city riding.

What You Should Know

  • The key update is the addition of a single-channel ABS on the front wheel

  • ABS helps reduce the chances of wheel lock-up during hard braking

  • Ride quality, mileage and comfort remain unchanged from the standard Access

  • Out of all the 6 variants of the Suzuki Access 125, only the ABS variants come with electric start

Details You Shouldn’t Miss – Brakes, Suspension, & Features

  • Front disc brake with single-channel ABS, rear drum brake

  • Telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup tuned for everyday comfort

  • 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheel with tubeless tyres

  • Both variants have Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, phone alerts, and trip information

  • The higher-spec gets a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT with more information like live weather and traffic alerts

What’s Worth Noting

While ABS adds an important safety upgrade, it is available only on the higher Ride Connect Edition variants. Buyers looking for the safest version of the Access will need to opt for these premium trims. Also, the ABS variant now misses out on a kick-starter.

Our Take – Who Should Consider It?

The Suzuki Access has always been known for its smooth engine, comfort, and practicality, but one area where it felt slightly underwhelming was braking. With the addition of single-channel ABS, that concern has been addressed – making the Access a noticeably safer scooter during sudden or panic braking situations.

This update also comes at a time when safety expectations and regulations are steadily becoming stricter across segments, with ABS increasingly seen as an essential feature rather than a luxury. By bringing ABS to the Access 125, Suzuki has ensured that its most popular scooter is ready for the government mandates when they are set in place.
