You Can Take Home The Triumph Bonneville T40 This Diwali! Check Price & Booking Details

The new Bonneville T40 and T4 bring Triumph’s iconic retro design and modern tech to the 350cc segment

Triumph has launched three new Bonneville bikes in India: the Triumph Bonneville T40, T40 Black and T4. The T40 Black is just a more subtle colour derivative of the regular T40, whereas the T4 is the more affordable variant, complete with a simpler colour LCD console and essential riding aids. We always loved the Bonneville series for their drop-dead gorgeous retro design, so we’re super excited to see the nameplate become much more accessible with these bikes.

They share one engine, a 350cc unit that makes 29PS and 31Nm. We have covered the pricing, booking details, and delivery timelines for the new Bonnevilles to show what each model costs and how to get one:

Triumph Bonneville T40 & T4 Price

Triumph Bonneville variant

Ex-showroom price (Delhi)

T4

Rs 2,54,999

T40 Standard

Rs 2,79,999

T40 Black

Rs 2,79,999

The T40 and the T40 Black cost the same, so choosing between them comes down to looks. The Black has matt paint and blacked-out parts, while the T40 comes in two-tone colours.

The bigger decision is between the T4 and the T40, which are Rs 25,000 apart. The engine is the same, but Triumph charges the extra money for the tech. The T40 gets a round TFT screen that mirrors Google Maps through the Triumph Navigation App. It also adds five riding modes, cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS and traction control, and a USB-C port.

On the other hand the T4 makes do with a colour LCD that still shows turn-by-turn navigation. It has three riding modes and dual-channel ABS, but no cruise control or cornering ABS. If you mostly ride in the city, the T4 covers what you need. If you plan longer rides, cruise control and the cornering aids can make the T40 less tiring.

The Bonnevilles are also more expensive than most of Triumph’s other 400 series bikes. Here are the others for comparison:

Other Triumph 350cc bikes

Ex-showroom price (Delhi)

Speed T4

Rs 2,10,158

Speed 400

Rs 2,35,327

The Bonneville T4 costs about Rs 45,000 more than the Triumph Speed T4. On the other hand, the Bonneville T40 costs Rs 44,672 more than the Triumph Speed 400. Yes, these are pretty hefty premiums, but for that you get unmistakable retro looks, and a few more geeky features, especially on the T40. Also, the Bonneville T40 is the second costliest 350cc Triumph bike in India, after the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC.

Booking And Delivery Details

Bookings for the T40, T40 Black and T4 open on 7 October 2026 at 4:30pm. You can book online on Triumph's India official website.

Deliveries of the T40 (and T40 Black) begin in the second week of November 2026 around the Diwali week. The T4 comes about two months later, with deliveries starting in the second week of January 2027.

All prices are ex-showroom Delhi, so the on-road price in your city will be higher.

BikeDekho Says

The Bonnevilles are priced at a premium because Triumph wants to cash in on the rich history of the Bonneville nameplate by offering a premium yet fairly accessible retro bike that's thoroughly modern underneath.

You can see where the extra money goes in the hand-painted coach lines and the brushed aluminium finish, while the tech covered above keeps them modern.
