Royal Enfield’s Odyssey Goes Global With A 2,000km Moroccan Ride
The expedition will be held between March 27 and April 4, 2026, and registrations are open
Royal Enfield has revealed the Moroccan Odyssey 2026, marking the first time its long-running “Odyssey” ride format will be conducted outside India. Scheduled between March 27 and April 4, 2026, the expedition will cover close to 2,000 kilometers across Morocco, bringing the company’s guided ride program to North Africa.
The announcement comes as Royal Enfield continues to expand its global community-focused activities beyond its traditional strongholds.
Route Focused on Terrain Diversity
The Moroccan Odyssey will begin in Marrakech, moving quickly into the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which sits at an altitude of 2,260 metres. The route then heads towards Ouarzazate, a key transit point between the mountains and the desert, before entering the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara.
From the desert, riders will travel north through the Middle Atlas, crossing forested regions and high-altitude plateaus before arriving in Fes. The final leg includes a run through Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains and concludes in Rabat, along Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
Motorcycle And Ride Structure
Participants will undertake the journey on the Himalayan 450. Given the nature of the route, ranging from mountain roads and desert sand to urban environments, the ride appears structured around adaptability rather than speed or sightseeing alone.
As with other Royal Enfield marquee rides, the Moroccan Odyssey will be a guided, limited-participant experience, focusing on long riding days and shared logistics rather than independent travel.

Manufacturer-led riding expeditions have increasingly become a way for brands to engage riders through controlled, destination-based experiences. The Moroccan Odyssey fits into this broader trend, using challenging geography and long distances as the core appeal.
Rather than positioning itself as a touring holiday, the ride is framed as an endurance-focused journey, aimed at riders looking to experience unfamiliar terrain through a structured, group-led format.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 User Reviews
I chose this because i love going to mountains and travelling through dirt trails and since i wanted to travel across Himalayas the first option that came my mind was Himalayan 450 because my cousin had Himalayan 411 back then and he loved the experience so i thought same beast with extra power would be a great choice. Honestly everything is good and perfect as i had imagined, The comfort is good the abs is great suspension, perfect and the 17L fuel tank is absolutely perfect, I never feel the necessity to carry extra fuel with me. Yes, i would really recommend this bike to someone who is interested in travelling or doing long rides like ladakh, Warwan you can go to any offroad batch or destination in this bike and also this bike performs well on highway too. I'm truly into adventurous and among tourer bike. I have like very few options and this one is far better among all bikes and it is very big good power and torque, good cc and it looks good on roads. Ride has been really good smooth, engine is great, suspension and stable highways, a bit heavy in city traffic, tough but on highways its so smooth and riding been fun on ghat roads too, like the rural area type. Yes, definitely its perfect for touring and weekend rides, if you mostly in the city it might feel too heavy, if you are tall there would be no problem for you but if you are short and basic, its not build for you.Read More

I bought this bike for a long drive and as well as city riding. Stress less ride, the variation in weight is due to the additional touring and safety features equipped on the top-end model. Purely because of Royal Enfield reliability Upgrading from a 2015 classic 350 to Himalayan 450 is a massive difference, Literally is built for no roads. Feels like a bigger bike compared to previous generations. Bigger tank unlocks better highway travels. Positive about the bike is the Ride has been the smoothest the engine is very responsive in a good way. It is aggressive when you need it to be the plush suspension lets you move on and off road freely without any issues. Can be easily managed in traffic. Really good on the highways excellent seat comfort for the rider and the pillion for city travel as well as long highway travelling. Can be used as a daily commuter bike in city Negative about the bike Should have had the option for cruise control and quick shifter for better riding experience. I will definitely recommend this bike to the person who can firstly handle such a tall and heavy bike With great power comes great responsibility so if it is going to the first ever bike i will recommend to start riding the bike in eco mode to first get a hang of power and throttle response Read More
