    Himalayan 440

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 was launched last week, and as expected from a typical Royal Enfield, it’s got a proper accessories catalogue to match. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 is built with touring and rough roads in mind, so it makes sense that Royal Enfield offers everything from basic crash protection to a full luggage setup for those multi-day rides. Every accessory shown here is designed specifically for the Himalayan 440 and sold directly through the official website.

    All Himalayan 440 Accessories

The accessory list is mostly focused on practicality rather than just adding visual flair. There are luggage options for longer rides, protection for off-road use, and touring seats aimed at making longer stints in the saddle more comfortable.

Here's the complete list along with prices:

Sure, the panniers and top box are pretty expensive, but they are solidly built (aluminium with ABS plastic corner protectors). It’s also lockable, and with the waterproof inner bags, you’ll have a convenient luggage solution if you’re planning to go touring in rainy areas. The side panniers are 26 litres, whereas the top box has a 40-litre capacity, and they both come with a 5kg payload capacity and a 3-year warranty.

On the protection side, the engine guards and sliders shield the motorcycle in case of a tip-over, while the handguards keep your hands and levers safe from branches, gravel, or a stray fall. The touring seats are shaped for long hours on the saddle. While the circular rear-view mirrors look retro, the tapered mirrors are a much better option, as they offer a much wider field of view.

    Final Thoughts

    Himalayan 440

If you’re looking for the essentials, we’d recommend going for the engine guards and oil cooler guards to keep crucial components safe from flying debris. If you tour occasionally, then having the pannier rails should come in handy, as they will help you mount either hard or soft panniers. The advantage of having soft panniers is that you can easily remove them and carry them indoors.

While the official hard panniers are excellent in terms of utility, they will increase the proportions of the bike, and also the weight, so they are ideal only if you tour very frequently.

Best cruising segment bike for on road and off road. May performance is best in segment. Powerful engine, previous version of this bike are pretty good but the current version are not practically good or styling. I expect, the upcoming version will fulfil that gap. Just waiting for the official launch of this bike.
