Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 (Price: Rs 3,03,000 )

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is the closest rival to the Gold Star. It is also a retro-style British roadster with a rich history and legacy. 

The Interceptor is powered by a 648cc air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine which produces 47PS and 52Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. When compared to the Gold Star, the Interceptor 650, thanks to its parallel twin engine, should offer a different riding experience, and should be smoother overall. 

With prices starting at Rs 3,03,000 (ex-showroom) the Interceptor makes for a very attractive alternative if you are someone who is looking for a retro British style roadster.

KTM RC 390 (Price: Rs 3,20,393)

The bike is powered by a 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which produces 43.5PS and 37Nm. The engine is the same as the one used on the 2nd Gen KTM 390 Duke, and is known for being a high revving engine that offers quite a thrilling riding experience. The F77 Mach 2 is the new and updated version of the Ultraviolette F77 and is powered by a motor which produces 27kW or 36.5PS and 90Nm. The motor gives the F77 Mach 2 a claimed top speed of 150kmph and a claimed acceleration of 0-100 in 7.8 seconds. 

One thing that we all associate with electric vehicles is range anxiety, but the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 gets a 7.1kWh battery pack which offers the e-bike a claimed range of 211km.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Hanle Black (Price: Rs 2,98,000) 

Supersports, roadsters and EVs are fun on the road, but what if you don’t want the fun to stop when the roads do? You would look for an adventure bike of course. At this price point, the top of the line Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Hanle Black is the best you can do.

The Himalayan 450 is powered by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 40PS and 40Nm. It is built on a tubular frame and suspended on a 43mm inverted fork with 200mm suspension travel and a linked monoshock with 200mm wheel travel at the rear.
