The recently-launched European-spec bike is called the Jawa 300 CL
- The European-spec Jawa 300 CL costs 1,49,850 Czech Koruna (about Rs 4.85 lakh).
- It is not only less powerful but also less torquey than the India-spec model.
- Jawa 300 CL features a single-channel ABS as standard, with a rear drum brake.

Classic Legends seems to have commenced exports to the European market, as the standard Jawa (named Jawa 300 CL in Europe) has been launched in the continent. While it looks similar to the India-spec motorcycle, there are quite a few differences in the technicalities as well as the price.
The Jawa 300 CL retails at 1,49,850 Czech Koruna, which is around Rs 4.85 lakh. Comparatively, the India-spec motorcycle costs Rs 1,74,228 for the single-channel ABS variant and Rs 1,83,170 (both ex-showroom Delhi) for the dual-channel ABS version. Interestingly, the European-spec motorcycle is available only with a single-channel ABS and a rear drum brake.

More importantly, the major change lies in the output figures. Despite packing a slightly larger yet Euro 4-compliant 294.72cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine (as opposed to the India-spec version’s 293cc motor), it produces only 23.11PS at 7000rpm and 25Nm at 5750rpm. In comparison, the bike sold here makes 26.51PS and 27.05Nm from its BS6-compliant mill. The claimed top speed stands at 125kmph.
While the underpinnings (telescopic front fork, twin rear shock absorbers, 280mm front disc, 153mm rear drum) have remained the same, the European motorcycle weighs 182kg dry whereas the one sold here tips the scales at 172kg kerb. This is likely to be a mistake on the website, as the Indian site too had the same figure when the BS6 version was launched. Later, Jawa clarified that the kerb weight is 172kg, and not 182kg.
Jawa’s home market, Czech Republic, also retails the retro-looking Jawa 350 OHC. You can read more about this motorcycle here.

- Jawa 350 StandardThe bike was good but the service is not good as they say everything as manufacturing defect. But has a great torque. The best thing for the bike is the seating comfortablity which is top notch. Also the bike doesn't heat up as some other 350cc bikes. Coming to mileage, it is just 24-27Kmpl which is not I expected.Read More6 2

- Jawa 350 is suitable for meJawa 350 Standard is a bike that can be referred to as timeless as all the features it possesses. The Indian market has a healthy appetite for motorcycles, especially those that are retro styled. With a 350cc engine, it provides suitable power and relief for the city or for highways and anywhere in between. There might be some riders who think that its handling and technological aspects are not on par with those of the current generation. Anyway, if timeless designs coupled with functionality are your cup of tea, then the Jawa 350 Standard may be suitable for you.Read More2 1
- An absolute pleasure to rideI am very excited to have ridden Jawa 350. It is an absolute pleasure to ride. When I get on the bike it takes me back in time and takes me down memory lane. When I start the engine I enjoy a great sound and fast forward motion and the brakes are awesome. I feel very confident driving it. I can't describe this feeling in words. You have to ride it to feel it.Read More1 1
