BREAKING: Ola S1 & S1 Air Electric Scooters Get New Variants

Ola Electric has introduced new variants of its S1 and S1 Air electric scooters with varying battery capacities and here’s everything you need to know about the new offerings from Ola.
In the premium S1 range, a new 2kWh battery pack variant has been introduced with a claimed range of 91km and a top speed of 90km. The standard S1 with a 3kWh battery pack covers a claimed 141km and does 95kmph. The new, smaller variant is priced at Rs 99,999 and can be purchased starting today, while the standard S1 costs Rs 1,09,999.
The S1 Air, on the other hand, is the more affordable alternative rivalling 110cc petrol scooters head-on with a smaller 4.5kW motor and a top speed of 85kmph. Now, the S1 Air, too, comes in three variants with 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh battery capacities. Check below for the claimed range and prices.
At the time of its unveiling, the S1 Air was available in only one variant and was quite different from other variants of the newly announced e-scooter. It got a 2.5kWh battery offering a claimed 101km range and 90kmph top speed.
The move to introduce more variants of its e-scooters should help Ola target a larger demographic and cater to different types of audiences. Apart from that, the EV maker has also teased an electric motorcycle lineup with four products in different segments including adventure, naked and retro-style. Summing up, bookings for the S1 Air are now open, with deliveries starting from July 2023, delayed due to the new options. Customers who had reserved the 2.5kWh S1 Air will get a free upgrade to the 3kWh variant of the EV.

Excellent scooter with awesome features. It had been my privilege to own this scooter. The range is easy 100+ till 20% battery and top speed I personally have reached 116kmph. Taking calls and listening to songs while riding, reverse assist, ample storage space in boot and many more. My wife and I have simply enjoyed this scooter.
