BREAKING: KTM 200 Duke New Colours Launched In India

Now, the 200 Duke is offered in 3 colours

KTM has launched new colours for the KTM 200 Duke. The new colours include an updated Electronic Orange and a new Dark Galvano colour scheme. The existing Silver Metallic Matt colour scheme will continue to be sold alongside these new colours, giving customers 3 different colour options to choose from. Thankfully, there are no changes to the pricing.

The updated Electronic Orange colour scheme gets a dark blue finish on the tank, which is a big change from the black finish it sported earlier. The headlight panels and tank extensions feature the same dark orange finish, but the livery on the tank extensions is new and comes in a similar dark blue finish as the tank.

Coming to the new Dark Galvano colour scheme, it gets a black finish overall but with a bit of orange added on a few areas: the headlight panels, the front half of the fender, and the subframe. Other than these small orange highlights, the new colour scheme comes off as a departure from the iconic orange finish that we have come to associate with KTM bikes. That said, it appeals to us as it’s more subtle, with just the right amount of orange to ensure the ‘trademark’ KTM look.

Other than the addition of these new colours and the cosmetic changes, the Duke 200 remains unchanged. The bike is still powered by the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which delivers 25PS and 19.3Nm.

The Duke 200 is priced at Rs 1,98,317 (ex-showroom Delhi). It competes with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Hero Karizma XMR, and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Other alternatives in the same price bracket include the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha R15 V4, Bajaj Dominar 250, and Hero Mavrick 440. Do you like the new colour schemes or prefer the old ones?
