Yamaha has launched the 2025 MT-15 Version 2.0 in the country with a new console and new colour schemes. It is offered in two variants: Standard (STD) and Deluxe (DLX) and gets five colour schemes spread across the variant lineup. The bike is still priced at Rs 1,69,550 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant. Here’s an overview on what the updated bike gets:
The DLX variant now comes with a TFT instrument console that appears to be borrowed from the recently launched Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid. The 4.2-inch TFT instrument console comes with quite a few features thanks to its smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth through Yamaha’s Y-connect application. It supports turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts, along with app-related information such as last parked location, maintenance recommendations, mileage, among others. The DLX variant comes in three colour schemes: Ice Storm DLX (new), Vivid Violet Metallic DLX (new) and Metallic Black DLX.
In the STD variant, the bike now comes in two colour schemes: Metallic Black, and Metallic Silver Cyan (new). The older colour schemes of Dark Matte Blue, Cyan Storm (DLX), Cyber Green (DLX), Ice-Fluo Vermillion (DLX), Racing Blue (DLX), and the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition have been discontinued. So, here’s a detailed table with the bike’s colour schemes and their respective prices:

While the new colour schemes are quite good looking, we particularly like the violet colour scheme. The 2025 Yamaha MT-15 is still powered by the same 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 18.4PS and 14.1Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch. The bike still comes with the same underpinnings with the golden coloured inverted fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres of the same profiles as before.
BikeDekho Says:
Yamaha is known to update its bread-and-butter model, the MT-15 regularly. However, lately it started showing its age as it wasn’t as feature-packed as before, so now with the update, the MT-15 feels a lot fresher, particularly with the new colour schemes. Yamaha’s sales in the last two months have been fairly consistent, tallying 7,123 units in June 2025, 7,034 units in May 2025. Now with the updates, expect the August sales numbers to go up even further.
