Bajaj Auto has launched the 2025 Dominar 250 in India at a price of Rs 1,91,654 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 5,158 more than the previous model. The 2025 version of the 250cc cruiser gets additional features along with an OBD-2B compliant engine.
While the Bajaj Dominar 250 complies with the latest emission norms, the power figures remain unchanged. The 248.77cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine still makes 27PS at 8,500rpm and 23.5Nm at 6,500rpm.
More importantly, Bajaj has now given the Dominar 250 a switchable traction control, and four modes for the dual channel ABS: Road, Rain, Sport and Off-road. The intensity of ABS varies according to the modes, and the traction control can be turned off in Sport and off-road modes. Along with this, the bike now gets a new LCD console inspired by the Bajaj Pulsar RS200/ Pulsar NS200, which supports smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts.
Bajaj has kept the design for the Dominar 250 unchanged, and the bike is still offered in the same three colour options: Canyon Red, Sparkling Black and Citrus Rush. The chassis remains unchanged and the bike uses the same 37mm inverted fork along with a preload adjustable rear monoshock. It gets a 300mm front and a 230mm rear disc brake setup. The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels, with a 100 section front and a 130-section rear tyre. Along with this, it continues with the all LED lighting setup, and a USB charging port.
The Bajaj Dominar 250 is the only 250cc performance-oriented cruiser motorcycle in India, and with the 2025 update Bajaj has given it a lot of useful features. We feel the price hike is pretty reasonable, but then it is now a bit too close to the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, which costs Rs 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The NS400Z offers much better performance as well as features, but in a streetfighter package. As of now, the only other 250cc traditional cruiser alternative to the Dominar 250 is the Keeway K-Light 250V, which recently received a massive Rs 71,000 price cut.
