Benelli Sells Close to 1000 Bikes; More than 1500 Orders Pending

Benelli is getting a decent response in the country and has sold around 975 motorcycles till date and still has more than 1600 orders pending. As a result, the monthly sales average has gone to over 100 motorcycles. Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Benelli, informed the media about the sales success in a press conference held at Pune. The Chinese-owned Italian manufacturer is in collaboration with DSK in the country.
On December 18, DSK Benelli launched TNT 25 in India in two trims, Standard and Premium. The motorcycle is competing with Mahindra Mojo and KTM 200 Duke. Benelli is also planning to launch its fully-faired machine, Tornado 302, in mid-2016. The bike will be an addition to the existing Benelli lineup in India that consists of TNT 25, TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600 GT, TNT 899 and TNT R. Currently, DSK Benelli has 14 dealerships across the country located in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Goa, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Cochin, Chandigarh, Surat, Indore and Mumbai.
At the launch of TNT 25, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni said, “DSK Benelli is committed to create a thriving superbiking culture in India. To this end, we have launched a stunning bike that is now within the reach of many, without compromising on the experience.” He added, “After having received a phenomenal response for our line-up in India, we are certain that this offering from DSK Benelli’s stable will also be appreciated with great enthusiasm by motorbiking aficionados in the country.”
