Benelli Leoncino 250: Which Colour To Pick

Choosing the perfect colour for your bike can get quite confusing. For that reason, we penned down what we think might be the best option for the Leoncino 250

Benelli launched the Leoncino 250, its quarter-litre scrambler, in India at Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It borrows its styling cues from the Leoncino 500, albeit with a couple of cosmetic changes to distinguish itself from its elder sibling. One of them includes new paint options, and just in case you are having a tough time narrowing it down to the final choice, we’ve listed down all four colours and penned down what we think suits the bike.

Brown:

Surely an understated colour, and we’re sure that’s what Benelli intended to go with. This is a paint option that takes you back in time - more classic than modern. But that doesn’t mean it looks boring in any way. It’s far from it since Benelli decided to add fluorescent yellow highlights on the bodywork for added drama. While the colour isn’t for everyone, it could work well for those who are looking for something that’s simple and subtle.

Anthracite:

Anthracite, or just ‘grey’ in other words, looks pretty cool on the Leoncino 250. It contrasts well with the bike’s blacked-out mechanical bits and brings about a sense of sportiness. Then again, it’s far from unique and wouldn’t get the bike the attention it deserves. So if we were you, we’d move onto the next option.

Red:

If it’s attention you seek, then you can’t go wrong with the colour red. It’s no surprise that it’s one of the most widely used colours on vehicles. However, not everything can pull it off, and that’s high praise for the baby Leoncino.

White:

While the white paint option looks quite similar to the one offered on the Husqvarna Vitpilin 401, Benelli has managed to add its own personal touch by using different materials. Even minor surface changes are highlighted thanks to the white contrast. Besides, there are multiple benefits that come with the colour white, including less visible marks in case you scratch the bike and better deflection of heat. It also ages quite well too. If it were up to us, we would most definitely go with white.
