Bajaj reported 14.62 persentege sales increase

Bajaj Auto registered a 14.62 per cent growth in motorcycle sales in September. The total number of bike units sold in the month is 2,49,133. This is 14.62 per cent more than 2,17,365 units in the same month last year. The overall sales of two-wheelers by Bajaj stood at 2,49,795 units as against with 2,18,494 units in September the previous year. This increase accounts for 14.33 per cent growth. On the other hand, exports increased by 17.66 per cent to 80,681 units in the same month from 68,572 units last year's corresponding period. This is also the largest export number ever on monthly basis. Bajaj's new products, new Bajaj Discover and Bajaj Pulsar, added to the sales figure tremendously. In the last month, 71,000 units of new Bajaj Discover and 56,000 units of Pulsar were sold. Bajaj is also going to launch Kawasaki Ninja 250 R on October 7.
