The country’s third largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto has shown some impressive sales figures in the last month, marking a total monthly sale of 50,483 units in the commercial vehicle sector. Previously, the company registered 31,893 unit sales in the month April‘14, which accounts for a whopping 58 percent increase within a year. However, the two-wheeler area showed a decline of 5 percent, with the unit sales sloping down from 2,99,636 in April‘14 to 2,85,791 in April ‘15.
With this calculation and math involved, the company managed to score an overall 1% up sales in the two respective categories. Going by the exact numbers, the Pune-based manufacturer sold 3,31,529 units in April ‘14, which has considerably risen to 3,36,274 units in April ‘15.
Now, talking about sales outside the country, the huge vehicle exports also paid off well, resulting in a considerable increment of 7% from the past year going from 1,50,714 units in April ‘14 to 1,61,598 units in April ‘15. This growth recorded the second highest ever sales for any April by the company.
Bajaj Auto sells various two-wheelers in the country with a wide range of options in the commuter and sport bike categories. Its best selling models include Pulsar, Discover, Avenger and Platina. The company’s recent addition to their line-up is the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, which is termed as the “Fastest Pulsar Yet” claiming a top speed of 141kmph. On the other hand, its commercial vehicle section primarily comprises the RE range, which the company boasts as the leading three-wheeler brand in the world. It offers several public transporters that run on different sources of energy viz. petrol, diesel and electric power.

Needed something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done.
Best in class performances, easy handling in city traffic, smooth, but rugged at same time, easy on pocket for maintenance, definitely serves the purpose, pickup is perfect, been riding this one since 15 years, yet minimum service cost, after sales response is also impressive, definitely male, title claimed by company feels true when you ride one.
This bike is very good. Jab baat ho Bharat ki sadkon par raj karne ki, toh ek hi naam sabke dimaag me aata hai, Bajaj Pulsar 150! Yeh sirf ek bike nahi, balki har biker ka ek jazbaat hai. Dekhne me stylish, chalane me dumdaar aur mileage me behatreen, Pulsar 150 ne har generation ke dil par apni ek alag jagah banayi hai.
I am riding Pulsar 150 since 2011. The model available at that time was BS3. It's performance and power composition give perfect and balanced ride for daily commuting.
