Since its launch in April 2024, the Ather Rizta has been one of the most popular electric family scooters. Ather Energy has announced that the Ather Rizta e-scooter has crossed the 2 lakh sales mark, making it the best-selling Ather with over 70% of total brand sales, surpassing even the Ather 450 range. Interestingly, this sales milestone arrived just six months after the 1 lakh sales milestone of the Rizta back in May 2025.

Ather claims that the introduction of new colour schemes, like the Terracotta Red, and a new variant called the Rizta S (3.7kWh battery pack) have also significantly contributed to the sales numbers. Also note that, as of September 30, 2025, Ather has 524 showrooms across India.
Ather Energy earlier wanted to cater solely to the sporty scooter segment, but then the brand pivoted to the family scooter segment, with the launch of the Ather Rizta in April 2024. This decision has paid the brand quite well as the Rizta not only ticked all the right boxes for practicality but was also competitively priced. In fact, it is the cheapest Ather electric scooter with prices starting from Rs 1,04,999 (effective ex-showroom).

I was about to purchase Cng bike because of daily use and mileage but when I saw and ad about rizta. I was excited and then I calculated that I can ride 126 Km for just 30 Rs charging that was the moment I changed my mind for ather. Still while buying I was so confused that did I do the write thing as we normal people do. But when started riding the experience which I felt can't express in words this was the first time. I was using a ev. So much silent, And the pickup was superb, Also it has comfort but IDC range which was given that came down slowly now it has been more than 2 years I get 90 Km range. Rest is good. If ather improves battery again this will be the best in the market. Because there is no one who can be on the top in market if thing improve. What I like is stylish in look. So I booked it without much thinking. The ride is soft and quiet. One time I forgot it was even on because there is no engine sound. It is perfect for my short trips.
